DC pays surprise visit to FPF Office, seeks explanation from absentees

In a surprise checking carried out by Deputy Commissioner Reasi-Ravinder Kumar in the office of Deputy Director Forest Protection Force(FPF) today, a number of employees were found absent from their duties.
During the inspection it was found that neither the movement registers nor the attendance register was properly maintained. Taking serious note of this, Kumar issued notice to the absentees to explain their position.
Additional District Development Commissioner Reasi has been asked to conduct an inquiry into unauthorized absence of officials of forest protection force and he has been asked to start a case of disciplinary proceedings and departmental action against the erring officials informed Kumar while talking to media. Kumar added that strict action will be taken against the erring employees. He passed strict directions to the officers for maintaining punctuality and movement registers in their respective offices. He directed the district heads to be on time and adhere to the office timings strictly so that general public do not face any inconvenience.
