DDC Budgam inspects dev works at Zoorigund

District Development Commissioner Budgam, Mir Altaf Ahmad, today visited Zoorigund area of the district to inspect progress of various developmental works being undertaken there.
The DDC inspected work on CFC Centre at Zoorigund being constructed at a cost of Rs 30 lakh and released Rs 1.80 lakh for construction of sanitation complex at Middle School Zoorigund.
During the visit, various public deputations and members of civil society met the DDC and apprised him of their grievances and concerns.
The DDC gave a patient hearing to the deputations and assured them of redressal of all of their genuine concerns in a phased manner.
He directed the concerned officers to be prompt in redressing grievances of the general public and asked the people to come forward and highlight their problems.
Later, the DDC convened Deh Sabha meeting with Rural Development Department Officers to take stock of developmental works under the RDD going on in the Zoorigund. He asked the officers to strictly comply with the instructions of Minister for Rural Development and involve locals in framing of the developmental plans.
