DDC directs to adopt multi pronged holistic approach

To review the functioning and progress  of JKB RSETI for the half year ending September 2015, District Development Commissioner  Rajouri, Shabir Ahmed Bhat today convened  the   meeting of District level  RSETI advisory committee at DC Office ,Rajouri .

The meeting was attended by ADDC Veerji Hangloo, ACD ,Rajouri, Noor Alam, CPO H.A. Choudhary, General Manager, DIC, Sheraz Malik, District Information Officer, Ashima Iqbal ,Executive Officer, KVIB ,K.H Chib,Zonal Head JK Bank, Peer  Masood Ahmed, Director RSETI, Ashok kumar koul, DDM ,NABARD, Des Raj,  and other senior officers.

Director RSETI briefed the DDC about performance of the institute  for half year ending September 2015 and apprised him about the number  of training programmes  conducted, candidates  being trained and the trainees settled afterwards. He also discussed the status of allotment of land for RSETI Rajouri.

Stressing the need for  making training programmes more practical and result oriented,  DDC directed RSETI  officials  to put focus on quality of training programmes organised rather than the number of training programmes conducted.

Meanwhile he   asked the RSETI officials to adopt multi pronged holistic approach to make their outreach possible in the far flung villages  to   generate awareness about government  schemes and direct them  to organise joint awareness camps with the line departments  of the District Administration Rajouri at different locations so that people at large could be benefitted.

Earlier, DDC Rajouri conducted surprise inspections at Govt Higher Secondary School, Rajouri and Boys Hr Sec School, Rajouri   to get first hand appraisal of working plan   at these educational institutes so as to identify their problems and set up standards to develop these two on parameters of model schools with all the upgraded facilities.

Staff position in the schools, attendance of teachers, toilet and drinking water facilities were also reviewed and necessary instruction were given to the concerned to mitigate them.

During inspection, DDC instructed the executive engineer R&B to ensure construction   of separate  gate  for Girls Hr. Sec School, Rajouri at priority besides directing Tehsildar (Hqr)  to do demarcation of school land.
