District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ramban Mohammad Aijaz, today held a public darbar at Gool to listen the grievances of the people for their on the spot redressal. Enroute he inspected ongoing works of roads and buildings. DDC was accompanied by
ACR Ramabn, Vevaik Puri, SDM Gool Zameer Reshu, DSWO Varunjeet Singh Charak,
ACD GH Kripak, XEns of
PHE, PDD, PWD Hamesh Manchanda, Habib Choudhary and Amar Singh Katoch respectively, AD CAPD Abdul Rashid, BDO Gool and Sangaldan and various other district and block level officers. In the public darbar, huge number people
from villages Sangaldan,
Gundi, Daram, Ind, Chachwa, Kalimasta, Bhimdasa, Parthmula, Ghagra, Mawalkote, Haila, Farmrote and Gagarsula were turned up to get their issues resolved.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC resolved some of the highlighted problems by passing necessary instructions to the district officers. He directed the officers to remain in contact with the people, pay regular visits and organise camps in all remotest areas to spread awareness of the schemes and build confidence. The DDC stressed upon full implementation of Public Service Guarantee Act in all offices and asked the officers to provide all the services to the people without any delay. In this regard he also instructed the officers to maintain record of the applications received under act. While briefing the gathering, DDC informed about various developmental initiatives taken by the state government and asked the people to come forward for participatory planning which has been constantly strengthened in all the districts. Responding the issue of inclusion and exclusion under NFSA, the DDC said that all genuine people shall be brought under priority sector strictly as per the population census 2011.
The DDC also assured the people that more such darbars shall be organized for helping the populace of rural and far off pockets in getting their problems mitigated within short possible time. While making reference of many welfare schemes, the DDC directed the labour deptt for providing labour cards to the deserving people so that they reap the
benefits of such schemes.
