Government on Saturday said two Kashmiri girls were detained on a suspicion at the Indira Gandhi International Airport New Delhi but were later let-off by the police.
“The two girls have been questioned by the police over some suspicion on Friday but were later let-off,” Government Spokesperson Nayeem Akhtar told Legislative Assembly on Saturday.
Four girls from Kashmir were detained by Delhi police on Friday morning and two of them were later released and two detained when police found “bomb” label on one of the luggage of the girls. But late Friday evening the too detained girls were also released. The issue was raised by Independent MLA from Langate Abdul Rasheed in the House.
