Two weeks basic computer training classes were organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Nachlana under Delta Force for the students of the Government High School, Nachlana, Ramban District from 06 April to 19 April 2016. With the online imprint of the country increasing everyday and maximum services offered by the public and private sector entities online, computer training is no more a option but necessity for the children for their all round development. These classes were aimed at imparting basic computer training to children in order to enable them to compete with their counterparts in different parts of the country and further to generate interest. Almost 100 students of the school accrued benefit from the classes which were conducted only after school timings so that their studies are not affected. Classes culminated in presence of teaching staff, students and their parents and local Sarpanches. The students expressed their gratitude and appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army for this initiative. Delta Force aims to carry out more such classes in future as part of a drive to enhance computer literacy.
