District PDP leaders have boycotted the function on Friday thar was organised in Women Degree College of Kathua. PDP District president Surinder Singh and Senior vice president Vinod Gupta said that in protest against the recent statement given by state Industries Minister Chandra Prakash Ganga, PDP has boycotted the program held at Women’s College. There was clear cut instructions from higher authorities of PDP. He said that the way the Cabinet Minister of the State made a controversial statement he should be sacked by the minister with immediate effect. He said that this kind of rhetoric of BJP minister encourages separatism. If states like Manipur and Assam can sit and negotiate to deal with unrest, then the situation of Kashmir can also be solved by sitting. He said that Education Minister Altaf Bukhari did not join the program as the rage of BJP minister Ganga’s rhetoric.
