DGP compliments Kashmiri girl for bagging medal at International Taekwondo event

Director General of Police (DPG) S P Vaid today complimented Mansha Bashir, a valley-based martial player, for bringing laurels to the state by clinching silver medal in the 30thAU Taekwondo Championship princess cup in Thailand earlier this month. Greeting Mansha for her speculator performance at the international event held at assumpin University of Thailand, the DGP expressed the hope that she will prove as a role model for many other sports persons, who are engaged in different sports and motivate them to lay indelible mark in the world of sports by dint of determination and hardwork. The DGP said that the state has no dearth of talent but the need is to identify and polish their talent so that they can show their worth at the state, national and international events. He said Mansha has shown the way and proved that given determination sky is limit for young sports persons. Dr Vaid said that Mansha has made Jammu and Kashmir proud by her splendid performance and wished her all the success in her future endeavours.
