Bigg Boss 9 contestants were very emphatic when it came to having their say this Monday: Digangana Suryavanshi must go even as they voted in the favour of Suyyash Rai. There is never a dearth of drama inside the Bigg Boss house. More so on this Monday when Bigg Boss served eviction with a twist.
In the latest episode, Digangana was eliminated based on the votes from the other inmates as voting was closed for audience. To add to the drama, she was sent to the ‘secret room’ inside the house, and everybody assumed she was the one ‘eliminated’ from the show. Digangana, however, was still around: Bigg Boss let her hear everything the other contestants were saying about her from the secret room.
She was later asked to go. Once out of the house, the actor said she had no regrets. “I am happy to be out of the house as I was missing my family a lot, but at the same time I am a little disappointed as my fans really voted for me since day 1.
Last week, house captain Priya Malik nominated the two inmates — Suyyash and Digangana — for the eviction round without knowing that the audience won’t have any say in the final outcome. Their survival was totally dependant on their personal equation with the other housemates.
Digangana has been criticised for her lazy behaviour inside the house, while Suyyash had temperament issues.
Meanwhile, wild card entries Nora Fatehi and Gizele Thakral are ready to take the Bigg Boss challenge. Before entering the house, Fatehi categorically said in an interview: “I am entering the house with the hope that I can raise the entertainment quotient. But, I will entertain the audience with my ability to do tasks and not the unnecessary fights. I want to uplift the mood of the people inside the house as well the viewers.”
In another twist, it’s Suyyash and Keith’s turn to take the commitment test in the ‘lust task’. Earlier, Rishabh and Prince were subjected to it.
