Directorate of Field Publicity interacts with public on PMs Maan Ki Baat

To promote listenership and public engagement on various themes discussed in Prime Minister’s “Maan Ki Baat” broadcasted on All India Radio on Sunday, the Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Udhampur in close coordination with Jagriti Old Age Home, Arogya Jiwan Aushdhaylay, Mukherji Bazar, Udhampur and Sewa Bharti, Udhampur organised an interactive programme at Jagriti Old age Home, Udhampur today. The aim of the programme was to engage public and encourage their participation and dialogue on the themes ranging from promoting curiosity and open mindedness to learn and experience new things of “Maan Ki Baat” which is being broadcasted every month through Akashwani. During the programme the 31st episode of “Maan Ki Baat”direct broadcast made available to audience.
The 2nd session was a discussion in which the promotion of Maan Ki Baat was taken up. During the discussions it was made to understand that sharing of experiences and learning of new things should be given priority to transform the socio economic conditions of the masses and for the overall development of the Nation.
Among dignitaries Rattan Chand Nagar, Vineet Gupta, Jugal Kishore Gupta, Baldev Chand Sharma, Dr. Jagdish Lal, Vidya Sagar, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Bansi Lal Gupta exchanged their views and made the audience to understand the importance of Maan Ki Baat and efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Damodar Dass Modi.
On this occasion Gurnam Singh, Incharge Field Publicity Unit, Udhampur also interacted with audience and informed that Radio is most popular, the best way of communication and having the maximum reach to masses now provides an opportunity to listen to the Experiences of Our Prime Minister.
