The Secretary General of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman, Shabir Ahmad Shah has said that the division of Kashmir is unacceptable. Shabbir Ahmad Shah interacting with a delegation of Akali Dal Man led by Gurdeep Singh Man on Monday in Srinagar said: “Our struggle is not for any particular section but we demand the right to self-determination for all regions and religions of the territory. “We will never allow plans of division of Kashmir succeed at any cost and are committed to secure and safeguard the interests of all the communities of the territory”, said Shah. He also termed the remarks of BJP leader, Lal Singh as frustration, saying Kashmiris will never leave Jammu Muslims at the mercy of communal forces. He told the Sikh delegation that New Delhi was bent to change the Muslim majority character of Kashmir for which it continued to hatch conspiracies in the garb of soldier colonies, settling of non-Kashmiri residents, shelters for homeless, and industrial policy, etc. “But we will never let them succeed,” he said.
