Dogra Group of Colleges holds management committee meeting

A meeting of management committee of Dogra Law College & Dogra Degree College was held under the Chairmanship of Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak in which they discussed several issue regarding institutions.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Jai Kumar Sharma Director, College Development Council, University of Jammu, Prof. Kulwant Singh, Department of Law, University of Jammu, Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Officer on Special Duty to Vice Chancellor University of Jammu, D.K Singh, Advocate, Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, S.C Khajuria, Director, Administration, Dogra Educational Trust, Principals of the Colleges and senior faculty members.
Chairman of Dogra Group of Colleges, Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, welcomed all the members in the meeting and appreciated the efforts of University of Jammu in achieving greater heights at the National level, which has brought credit to the affiliated institutions as well. All the members were apprised by the Principals of various Colleges about the innovative activities ventured upon by the staff and students to realize the goals and objectives of the said course being pursued in the Dogra Group of Colleges. In the agenda point, a pleae was made to streamline the Admission procedure, since very many students from far flung area do not get timely information about JUET, hence they are deprived of their admission and loose an year. Further the Dogra Degree College highlighted that to tone up the Academic Delivery system, regular training programme may be conducted by the University faculty and further suggested that for Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) which has been introduced in the undergraduate level from 2016-17 session for the first time, a two days workshop may be arranged at the earliest for the faculty of the private affiliated colleges by the University of Jammu to effectively implement it.
