DPS Jammu organists Inter-house football championship

Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu organized Inter-House Football Championship for classes VI to VIII from May 13th to May 18th, 2017. While addressing the students, Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners, their coach David Masih and all participants for their brilliant show of skills. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also expressed her appreciation for the team. Five houses of the School namely, Chenab, Jhelum, Tawi, Ganga and Yamuna houses took part in the match. The championship was played on ‘knock out basis’ after their preliminary matches. Tawi house and Jhelum house reached up to the finals whereas tawi house won the match by defeating Jhelum house by four goals to zero. Prerit (VII-E) of Tawi House scored Hat-Trick by 3 goals while Zohaib (VIII-E) scored one goal.
President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh and Director S S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to teams and participants, particularly the winners.
