DPS, Nagbani organizes Kavita Goshti competition

In continuation with the celebration of Hindi Pakhwara week, Delhi Public School organized Kavita Goshti competition.
All the children from classes 1st to 7th presented poems of famous Hindi poets. The poems were very beautifully and confidently delivered by the students with rhythm and actions. The excellent display of the artistic talent left the audience spellbound. The purpose of this programme was to arouse students’ liking for their mother tongue and appreciate its value.
The winners were awarded merit certificates by the Principal.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal said that poems play a great role in the development of the imagination of a child the one who imagines is the one who creates. He further said that this type of programmes give boost to the students’ confidence and help them to develop strong personality.
