DPS wins inter school debate competition at SKUAST

Dhananjay Kohli and Bhuvandeep Singh, students of Delhi Public School of class X brought laurels to the School by winning 1st and 3rd positions in the Inter- School Debate competition organized by Sher-i Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology (SKUAST) on the occasion of World Veterinary Day 2017 at R.S Pura, Jammu.
While addressing the gathering, Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra applauded both the winners and the teacher in charge Manpreet Mehta and wished them best of luck for their future.
The participants spoke for and against the motion “Exams Kill Innovation” and put forth their arguments convincingly.
Out of eleven participants from different Schools of Jammu, Dhananjay and Bhuvandeep were awarded glittering trophies & certificates for 1st position in ‘For the Motion’ and 3rd position in ‘Against the Motion’ respectively.
The event was judged by Dr. Altaf Bhatti, Aneesh Yadav & Dr. Aditi Lal Kaul. President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh and Director S.S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to the position holders.
