Driver held with narcotics in Nagrota

Police arrested one drug peddler and recovered 1.8 Kg Charas from his possession.
According to report, a party of Police Station Nagrota, during a Naka at Bantoll Plaza, intercepted one vehicle (JK03B 2515) coming from Anantnag towards Jammu.

During checking, police recovered 1.8 Kg Charas from the possession of vehicle driver. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Ashfaq Hussain Wani, son of Ghulam Qadir Wani, resident of Naibasti Khanabal, Anantnag.

In this regard, case FIR No 265/2017 under Sections 8/20 NDPS Act was registered.

The arrest was made by Inspector Bhushan Manhas under the close supervision of SDPO Nagrota, Yashvir Slathia and Additional SP Rural, Shivdeep Singh.
