An encounter broke out in Warpora area of north Kashmir’s Sopore where one terrorist is reported to be trapped in the encounter. Firing is yet to start in the encounter as security forces are asking terrorists to surrender, according to reports.
However, terrorists lobbed a grenade on the search party from outside where two cops including SHO got injured. Terrorists lobbed a grenade at a security forces party at Main Chowk Sopore.
The second operation is going on at Hajin, where two foreign militants are reportedly trapped inside a house. Security forces trying to evacuate locals before starting operation, sources said.
The third operation is underway in Kalantara Baramulla, where firing resumed again after a 12-hour lull. However, the exact location of the terrorists is yet to be ascertained.
