Every possible help would be provided to DGPC: PHE Minister

Every possible help would be provided to the District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC), this was stated by Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary while laying the foundation stone of a Gurdwara at his home constituency Katyal in Suchetgarh.
Honorary Captain Bana Singh, PVC and other officers of DGPC were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, addressing the public meeting at shrine of Baba Birfa Nath in Kalali Tibba, RS Pura, the minister made a strong pitch for active public participation in strengthening the developmental initiatives and effective implementation of welfare programmes. “It is the responsibility of every citizen to play his part in the development of the nation and everyone must try to become a change agent in the society,” he added. He also called for public cooperation in making ‘Clean & Green India’.
The minister assured the people that their genuine demands will be fulfilled in phased manner, said that directions have been given to the Power Development Department and PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Department to expedite the process of installing new transformers and commissioning new Water Supply Schemes for streamlining power and water supply in
rural areas.
