Farmer Unions Call For a Global Protest Against New Farm Bills

Today where the whole world is celebrating International Farmers Day, the farmers protesting in India have planned that they will call for a global protest against the new farm laws. As per the reports people from at least 10 countries have agreed to stage a protest against the new farm laws. The demonstrators from New York, Sydney, London, Leicester, and Melbourne have confirmed that they will stage a protest on the 26th of this protest to support the farmers in their protest.

 

According to Yogendra Yadav, a member of Swaraj India said, “we have made 5 big announcements”. “First, on 21 December, there was a relay hunger strike, second, today we request everyone to skip lunch in the support of farmers, third on 26th and 27th we will write to NDA supporters to withdraw their support from the farm laws, fourth, on these two days i.e 26 and 27 we have already called our NRI brothers to stage protest in front of Indian Embassies and fifth all the farmers will bang thalis during PM’s next Mann Ki Baat”.
