Fast and Furious franchise likes its records. Never the one to shy away from creating explosions and blasts, Fast and Furious 8 has a big one in the offing — the crew has reportedly planned to film a scene involving the “largest explosion” ever in Iceland.
Director F Gary Gray will partly film Fast and Furious 8 in Arkanes, Iceland. The town mayor, Regina Asvaldsdottir, confirmed the report and said that Vin Diesel and the film crew members would arrive in April, as a report.
As Universal Pictures stated earlier, the studio “is currently in the process seeking approval from the United States and Cuban governments to explore shooting a portion of the next installment of the Fast & Furious series in Cuba.” The majority of filming, however, will take place in New York and Atlanta.
