Ramkot residents stage protest against health deptt

Local administration has made appointment of two doctors and also provides ambulance to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Ramkot. The officials of the administration reached the spot when locals of the Ramkot blockade the road and staged a protest against the health department for the deficiency of doctors and Ambulance in Primary Health Centre (PHC) Ramkot by blocking the road.
The protest was held under the leadership of Sarpanch Panchayat Ramkot, Thakur Budhi Singh. During protest, Thakur Budhi Singh alleged that the patients at the Primary Health Centre have been facing hardships due to various vacant posts since long.
After getting the news of blockade, the higher authorities at once reached the spot along with police and pacify the protestors. The administration officials made appointment of two doctors and also made arrangements for providing Ambulance to Primary Health Centre (PHC). Later, the agitated residents of Ramkot lifted the blockade after getting the two doctors and ambulance to Ramkot PHC.
The sarpanch once again warned the administration if concerned department fails to fill the other remaining vacant posts. Then they will once again resume their struggle.
Earlier the sarpanch Thakur Budhi Singh was given two days time to concern department for fulfilling the posts of doctors and if the department fails then ready to face consequences.
But concerned department failed to take the action in this regard within two days. The arrangements for posting two doctors were only made after the Sarpanch along with residents blocked road.
