In Gool tehsil of Ramban district, the fire incident occurred at three places, including a government school building. The local people and the police controlled the fire in time, safely saved school records, and avoided significant accidents and damage. There was no casualty in this accident. At 8 pm on Saturday, the Ind Police Outpost of Gul Police Station received information about a fire in the Government Girls Middle School building. As soon as the information was received, the police party from Ind under the leadership of the outpost in charge left for the spot on foot. Meanwhile, the local people started working together to douse the fire.
Meanwhile, the police party that left for the spot got information about Munshi Ram son Balak Ram, resident of Deda and the grass of Kikar Singh son Chhajju Ram of the same village is set on fire by some mischievous people. People had extinguished the fire before the police party reached there. The fire caused some damage to Munshi Ram’s house and some damage to the school building. There was no casualty of any kind in these fire incidents. All the school records have been saved safely due to the timely extinguishing of the fire by the people and the police.
Gool police have registered a case and started an investigation into the matter. In this regard, SHO Gul Munir Ahmed Khan said that the fire in the school had started in the record room.
