Forest employees stage protest for demands in Bhaderwah,

Scores of employees of Forest Department Saturday staged protest demonstrations at Forest Complex Bhaderwah here under the banner of J&K Non -Gazetted Forest Officers Association, demanding fulfillment of their demands. Protestors started assembling in the morning and raised pro-justice slogans.
Speaking on the occasion acting President of the association Abdul Hafeez Dar demanded removal of pay anomalies of forest guard / foresters, release of two and half day salary, release of risk allowance,clearance of pending SRO-43 cases and early conduct of DPC of Foresters, regularization of daily wagers of Forest Department , change of designation of helpers and forest guards and enhancement of 135 more posts of Range Officers Grade-II.
He also lashed out at State Government for delaying polices regarding their genuine demands“Our all long pending demands are genuine and we have apprised authorities about them time and again. However, our pleas have fallen flat on deaf ears,” said Abdul Hafeez Dar acting President J&K Non -Gazetted Forest Officers Association unit Bhaderwah.
After protest and demonstration agitating employees also took out a procession which after passing through various complexes of the DFO office Bhaderwah culminated outside the gate of forest complex. They protestors threatened to intensify protests in case their demands are not met forthwith. Others who were present during the occasion including Aftaqb Ahmed, Kewal Krishan, Randeep Singh, Liaqat Ali Khan, Khursheed Ahmed, Javed Iqbal Wani Sarfraz Ahmed, Gulam Mohidin and others.
