Condemning BAT action launched by the Pakistan on the Line of Control in which two troopers attained martyrdom and terror attack of Kulgam in which five cops were martyred and two J&K Bank employees were killed, Former Congress MLC Jugal Kishore Sharma today dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking him to ‘act’ as it is high time now.
“The Prime Minister should show the countrymen his ‘56-inches chest’ because situation in the Kashmir Valley is very grim and it is high time now,” Sharma in a statement issued here said. He said that Pakistan is time and again attacking our soldiers, who are sacrificing their lives while guarding borders but Modi led Government in the Centre, should not be only mute spectator but must act now.
“This is the right time to reply befittingly to the Pakistan as it a perpetuator of terrorism and it is a worldwide known truth,” said the Congress stalwart. The former MLC however, said that by only threatening the ‘enemy’ in addresses and speeches will not work but action is required.
“The Prime Minister time and again in riding on last year’s September 18 Surgical Strike wherever he addresses the nation but only one strike of such type will not foil the nefarious designs of the Pakistan,” he mentioned and asked the BJP led government to ‘react’ and ‘act’ policy has to be adopted for to keep the morale of our forces high.
