Former minister and senior National Conference leader Jagjeevan Lal has expressed anguish over the attack on a nomad family and urged the people to remain cautious against divisive forces.Making a fervent appeal to the people to maintain the traditional amity and brotherhood, Jagjeevan Lal said exhorted them to foil the attempts of polarizing forces. He said those trying to vitiate the atmosphere were actually furthering the agena of PDP-BJP dispensation which has failed on all fronts. “To remain glued to the power, the present dispensation was encouraging drift”, he said, adding that National Conference will foil all their attempts at the strength of the support and cooperation of the people, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, region or religion.
The former minister expressed solidarity with the nomad family that was subjected to harassment and sought immediate action against the perpetrators.
