The Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash today extended his wishes to the public on auspicious occasion of Baisakhi and anniversary of establishment of Khalsa panth by Guru Gobind Singh ji , the 10th Sikh Guru. He was addressing people after inauguration of the harvest festival, Baisakhi at Buddapur, Sarore.
He informed that Baisakhi festival at Buddapur is celebrated since many centuries and earlier used to witness massive public participation. The Minister called for preserving the rich cultural heritage of the country and prayed for peace, prosperity and development of the region. Convenor Mela Committee,Tilak Raj and community members from Badhori, Najwal, Khadgal and other surrounding villages were also present on the occasion. Earlier, the Minister also took part in Baisakhi celebrations at Pindi, Gurha Salathia.
