GDC distributes certificates to participants for undergoing training programme

Government Degree College (GDC) Udhampur distributed certificates among the students for successful eight weeks training programme in food production and food beverage Service.
The training programme was conducted under skill development programme “Hunar Se Rozgar Tak”, by Food Craft Institute, Department of Tourism Government of Jammu and Kashmir sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, government of India.
While addressing the gathering, Principal of College, Professor S.S. Bhalwal and Jyoti Bhati Principal, Food Craft Institute Jammu distributed certificates among the successful students.
The students undergone for training in Food production were also given two thousand each and the student’s undergone training in Food & Beverage Service were given fifteen hundred each as stipend. Five batches each comprised of 50 students were trained during 2015-16 session.
Principal further emphasized upon all students to also aware the society that how one can establish his/her own business on the basis of skilled courses and also to become job giver instead of Job seeker.
Dr. Udhey Bhanu, HoD Mathematics was the coordinator of the course. Besides, Professor Suresh Kumar Dogra, the faculty of Food Craft Institute namely Dhiraj Sharma, Rana and large number of students were also present.
