GGF celebrates Birth Anniversary of Tagore

Gandhi Global Family (GGF), United Nations DPI accredited NGO, celebrated the 155th birth anniversary of the poet Rabindranath Tagore in Jammu. Tagore, who received the Nobel Prize for literature in 1913, was first who referred Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi as Mahatma Gandhi. The celebration commenced with paying floral tributes to the first Asian Noble Laureate at GGF Head Office, Jammu. While addressing GGF members and volunteers, Padmashri S P Varma, GGF vice president, congratulated everyone. He stated that such events help spreading the messages of Tagore Sahib among the new generation.

He further appealed all GGF office bearers to collaborate with academic institutions around their area to achieve United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals and spread the messages of Mahatma Gandhi through GGF Symposium on Truth & Non Violence. Stating further he guided GGF Youth to adopt the values shown by personalities like Guru ji and Mahatma Gandhi.  The event concluded with the national anthem.
