Governor Rule no solution to restore peace in J&K: Azad

Jammu Tawi, April 24
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and Congress stalwart Ghulam Nabi Azad today said that Governor Rule is no option while restoration of peace is not possible during PDP-BJP ruled government in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. “Governor Rule is not a solution to prevailing crisis in the state of Jammu and Kashmir,” Azad told reporters.
“Peace will not restore in J&K till there is PDP-BJP Government in the state,” he added.
He said that there will no end to violence till PDP-BJP dispensation will remain in rule, adding, “it is not possible to restore peace in the valley as long as there will be PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir.”
On reaching Doda district Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad inaugurated the newly constructed Community centre at main market Doda.
The building has been constructed under MPLAD scheme funded by Azad and completed at an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, Azad said that the construction of similar community centres was started in all the major towns of the district and few of them have been already dedicated to the people.
He urged the district administration to utilize these centres for organizing government programmes besides asked to allow the building for wedding purposes with minimal charges, to be used for maintenance of building.
