Govindsar habitant’s strongly raises the issue of pollution menace during Police-Public meet

To strengthen Police-Public relations and to bring people nearer to Police for better output in prevention and detection of crime, DSP Ajay Sharma and In-charge Police Post Hatli Morh, on the directions of SSP Neeva Jain held a Police-Public meeting at village Govindsar.

At the outset of these meetings, the chairing police officer Police Post In-charge, welcomed the participants and appreciated for sparing their valuable time to attend meeting. Following which, the chairing officer asked the local citizens to put forth their genuine problems.

Sarpanch Vijay Padha apprised and hoped that under the dynamic administrative control of the police authority, the crime rate, drug addiction; bovine animal transportation will reduce to the minimum possible extent.

Appreciating the action of SSP Neeva Jain initiated to curb the drug menace, Sarpanch Vijay Padha said that she is really doing an appreciable job and had succeeded in curbing the drug menace in Kathua to much extent.

The police officers also had discussions on the various issues and problems’ put-forth by the participants pertaining to different departments. The people widely raised the issue of pollution menace in the area.

DSP Ajay Sharma in his address recalling the public as eyes of department stressed upon the public to be vigil and inform police immediately if they see any kind of suspicious activities in the area. He expressed that the “men in uniform” would keep their rich tradition of people friendly policing and respect towards human rights maintained.

Regarding pollution menace DSP assured people that Police would take up the matter with concerned department. DSP also instructed In-charge PP Hatli to conduct random checking and ensure that no unit functions without obtaining NOC from concerned Department.
