Govt claiming credit of flood structure restoration: NC

National Conference here has castigated PDP BJP coalition government of Jammu and Kashmir alleging it for staking claim on the restoration of those structures which got damaged in 2014 floods while has also lambasted over the legislators of ruling parties for not highlighting the issues of people in the ongoing assembly session.

Addressing a press conference in Parade Ground Poonch which was chaired by Block President NC Bagh Hussain Rathore in which a number of senior party leaders from Poonch tool part. Addressing media person in the press conference, NC leaders said that Sher e Kashmir Bridge of Poonch got damaged in 2014 floods and it’s restoration / repairing work  has been completed now and bridge will soon be thrown open for traffic.

” Leaders of ruling parties are coming Poonch to start this bridge for which an official function will be held ” they claimed adding that its cheap politics on the part of ruling party leaders that they are staking claim for bridge which has been restored after flood damage. ” Its not a new project to be inaugurated but it’s an old bridge which has been repaired after damage in floods ” NC leaders said in press conference saying that inaugurating this bridge has no meaning at all. Besides this NC leaders also castigated the political representatives of Poonch saying that they are attending assembly session only to enjoy the pleasant weather of valley and not to highlight issues of Poonch. ” Hardly any pro people issue has been highlighted by our leaders in both upper and lower house ” they claimed.
