Govt reaching out to people at their doorstep to redress grievances: Zulfkar

Minister for Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today said the government is committed to redress grievances and sufferings of the people living in far flung areas by extending all basic services at their doorstep. He said the Government is fully aware of the problems and issues of the people in the rural area and steps are being taken to mitigate them in shortest possible time. Addressing a public grievances redress camp at Kotranka, the Minister said many mega developmental projects have been launched by the government and tangible change is visible on the ground as far as the developmental scenario of state is concerned. He said the Government’s aim is that the departmental officers should reach out to the people and address their issues at their doorsteps. Zulfkar Ali also took stock of infrastructural and developmental needs of the area and directed the officers for necessary action on various issues of immediate concern. The Minister gave a patient hearing to the demands of the people and asked the concerned officers to make all possible efforts to redress their grievances. He also said that Darhal constituency comprises of the most backward areas of the State and all out efforts are being made by the Government to improve the living conditions of the people in the area.
