State NCP expressed grief over the loss of human lives in a tragic road accident in Padder area of District Kishtwar where seven persons lost their lives including the driver of Tata sumo. Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP chief J&K state and other senior leaders of the party conveyed their heartfelt sympathies with the relatives of the deceased and prayed to Almighty God to rest the departed souls in peace. State NCP demanded from the state government immediate financial relief to the families of the deceased and employment to next of kin of each deceased family. Singh said that thousands innocent people of this hilly area have died and many have become disabled in frequent road accidents because of bad roads and lack of latest transport facilities so far state government has not learnt any lesson from frequent fatal buses accidents resulting in the deaths of innocent people.
Singh has already deputed Sanjay Rana Presedent Nationalist Student Congress (NSC) who belongs to interior of Padder area to go on spot and report back to the party the cause of the accident.
Those who attended the meeting included Krishan Kumar Digra, R S Billowaria, Sandeep Manhas,Satpal Sharma, Dr Liaquat Ali Magray, R C Bali,Sanjay Rana , Er Rishi Kilam,T K Koul and others.
