Gulmarg adjudged best Mountain destination; JK tourism gets award

Popular skiing destination and world’s highest golf course Gulmarg was adjudged as best mountain destination in the country with Jammu and Kashmir Tourism department getting prestigious award in Mountain category here today. Union Tourism Minister, Dr Mahesh Sharma presented the award to OSD publicity Tourism, Shahnawaz A Shah. Secretary RSGC Srinagar Galib A Shah and Secretary Jammu Tawi Golf course, Manav Gupta in a function organized by India Today group here today. The awardees were judged by renowned people from across the country. The function which started with the welcome address by Group editorial Director Publishing of India today group, Raj Chengappa, was also attended by the Chief Minister Haryana, Tourism Minister Uttarakhand and other dignitaries. Union Tourism Minister, Dr Mahesh Sharma, delivered the keynote address followed by the award ceremony.
