JKNPP announces office bearers

Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) chairman Harsh Dev Singh today expressed grave concern over the deteriorating law and order, governance deficit, escalation in militancy and increased Pak interference in Kashmir, tense borders and enhanced bias and prejudice against Jammu region in multifarious sectors. In a meeting held here wherein, JKNPP chairman took stock of the prevailing situation in the state and the imbecility of the incumbent government to deal with the prevalent crisis. Speaking on the occasion, Harsh Dev Singh said that both BJP and PDP had lost the confidence of their respective electorates with people in Kashmir and Jammu regions questioning the moral authority of the ruling alliance to continue in office. He said that with separatists and other anti-nationals having virtually taken control of situation in Kashmir, there was a palpable simmering discontent among the masses in Jammu region also which could explode any moment.
Urging upon the panthers leaders to reach out to the masses, Singh said that the party’s ideology and its achievements were required to be carried to each nook and corner of the region. Calling upon the party rank and file to carry the message of the party to panchayat level, Singh said that the contributions and achievements of JKNPP should be disseminated. He said that JKNPP was the only regional recognized political party of Jammu which could ensure justice to this hitherto neglected and deprived region.
Meanwhile, JKNPP chairman Harsh Dev Singh also announced office bearers in which he elected Raj Kumar Jandial as district president (Urba) Jammu, Naresh Chib as provincial general secretary Jammu, Ram Paul as secretary Panthers Trade Union Jammu, Kewal Krishan Sharma district Jammu secretary, Devinder Singh as youth general secretary District Udhampur and Rohit Sharma as Tehsil president of Young Panthers Tehsil Bishnah.
Others who were present on the occasion included Yash Paul Kundal state president Young Panthers, Gagan Pratap, Parshotam Parihar besides others.
