Heritage Strings School to organise summer camp from June 16

Heritage Strings School of Rock today announced that it would organise a summer camp for Dance and Aerobics which starts from June16, 2016. During press conference which held here today, Anmol Amla, Director, Heritage Strings stated that the camp programme would incorporate various forms of dance like Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Salsa, Free Style, Bollywood amongst others including fitness and aerobics Booiaka session. This camp is open for all, the camp would encourage participation from enthusiasts of all age groups, be it children or adults. Boomer Smiley Tanuja Chahar, the only certified trainer of BOOIAKA in J&K, remarked that BOOIAKA is the comprehensive form of fitness work-out. It is a combination of Brazilian, Jamaican, Hip-Hop, Old School and Reggaeton dance styles an easy to learn movement for all shapes, sizes, skill levels, and ages. She explained how it is better even than fads like Zumba and Bokwa that do not entail holistic fitness. The summer camp is organised by Anmol Amla, Director – Heritage Strings with the assistance in coordination of Sanchit Dewan.
JMC Thematic cleanliness drive
conducts in Parade Municipal Park

Complying with the instructions of Housing & Urban Development Department, Thematic Cleanliness drive in all popular forest sanctuaries, reserved forest areas, parks and animals welfare establishments. Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) on the directions of Mandeep Kour, Commissioner JMC and R S Jamwal, Joint Commissioner (A) conducted a drive in the Municipal Park at Parade, here.The drive was launched by Dr. Zaffar Iqbal Municipal Veterinary Officer/Zonal Officer Sanitation, Zone-II JMC and Darshan Kumar Sanitation Officer in the presence of locals of the area besides other supervisory sanitation staff of JMC.During this drive thorough sweeping of park foot path was done and about a one vehicle of garbage was collected and lifted by the SKCs deployed.
Locals of the area appreciated the drive launched by JMC as huge garbage was accumulated in the park due to the strong winds and rains occurred a few days back. They also requested to install the dustbins in the park for the disposal of the garbage. The M.V.O. assured them that the garbage containers will be installed within shortest possible timer.The drive will remain in force in other areas till conclusion of the Thematic Cleanliness Drive.
