Government High School (HS) Chak Murar and Government Middle School (MS) Bishnah won boys under-17 and under-14 Kho-Kho finals respectively in the annual inter-school competitions of Bishnah zone, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Government (boys) Higher Secondary School, Bishnah in district Samba. While HS Chak Murar defeated Government HSS Rehal by a margin of six points in under-17 age group, MS Bishnah outplayed HS Chak Murar by two points in under-14 category. Earlier, the competition was declared open by Principal of host HSS Bishnah, HL Bhagat, who was accompanied by ZPEO (Zonal Physical Education Officer), Jeet Singh. Around 300 boys in two age groups are taking part in the disciplines of Cricket, Kho-Kho, Volleyball and Kabaddi and Wrestling. Other Results: KABADDI: UNDER-14: Semifinals: HS Deoli bt MS Kanhal by 16 pts; HS Chak Jarallan beat Rajesh Public School by six pts. UNDER-17: Semifinals: HSS Bishnah beat HSS Rehal by one pt; HS Sarore beat Rajesh Public School by six pts.
VOLLEYBALL: HSS Bishnah beat HS Khairi 2-1; HS Majura beat Jammu Sanskriti School 2-1.
