Hurriyat (M) condemns Mirwaiz’s, Geelani’s house arrest

Spokesman of the Hurriyat (M) said the entire resistance leadership has a clear stand against the anti-Kashmir and anti-people policies and made it clear that the policies which are against the Kashmiri people and their security would not be allowed at any cost.
Condemning the arrest of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik and his detention in Central Jail Srinagar, the APHC spokesman by doing this, the
government was proving its frustration.
The spokesman also condemned the house arrest of the Hurriyat (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Farooq for the sixth consecutive day and continued house arrest of the veteran resistance leader, Syed Ali Geelani and said the government had been frustrated by the plan of the united resistance leadership for the larger goal of Kashmiri people and was now cracking down on the resistance leadership and workers, detentions and house arrests, restrictions and curbs but made it clear that such tactics had never worked against the resistance movement in the past nor would they in the future.
He said the puppet government did not have the courage to fight the resistance leadership politically and was as such banning their peaceful activities, placing curbs on their movement and arresting them, and in a way accepting their defeat.
The spokesman condemned the house arrest of Hurriyat leader Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam and sought the immediate release of all the resistance leaders from detentions and house detentions.
