The Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the Jammu and Kashmir police to find out the mysterious missing Sarpanch Dhok Wazrian- advocate Raman Wazir is likely to submit its status report to the Jammu and Kashmir High Court tomorrow.

The SIT remained in dilemma owing to multiple dimensions emanating out of the episode which has apparently perplexed the SIT.

According to the sources privy to the development, the SIT formulated by the police will not reach any conclusion as there are very few chances of any achievement as there is alleged involvement of police personnel’s in the incident.

“The slow response of police to find out the missing advocate was under the scanner of BAR association and for the said reason the BAR association filed a petition in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court seeking formulation of a SIT involving BAR members to look into the investigation” sources added.

The high court after assessing petition and hearing the arguments found that the action and investigations carried out by police after the mysterious missing of advocate were scrimpy, raising question over it owing to which court immediately issued an ordered for the formulation of SIT comprising of six officers headed by SP South Jammu Shahzad Salaria. A similar team of BAR association was also constituted to assist and provide necessary information.

Sources maintained that the six members teams formulated by the BAR is just to keep an eye on the manner investigation will be carried out by the police as they had alleged police of ‘shooting in air’ without any specific target.

Pertinent to mention here that advocate Raman Wazir is untraced since July 31, 2016 as his personnel gypsy bearing registration number JK02N-9256 was found lying at NHW near Jagti and his mobile phone, Tab and vehicle keys were also found from the gypsy.
