Indian who ‘owned’ Google for a minute rewarded by the search engine giant

Sanmay Ved, a former Google employee on September 29 ended up purchasing and owning Google.com through Google domains.

Now, he has been rewarded with a cash award by Google for spotting the error although the amount has not been mentioned by the company.

Ved has decided to donate the money to charity, according to Younews.in.

Sanmay Ved had purchased Google.com which lasted only for a minute. Ved had explained the entire story of how he purchased the site in his LinkedIn post.

According to his post, he was learning about the Google Domains interface and he got access to Google when he searched for domains after typing Google.com.
