Although! Every Indian seems chanting to fill-up the nationalistic impulse through famous lines affiliated to Haribash Rai Bachhan’s poem:
Vriksh hoN bhale khade,hoN ghane hoN bade, Ek patra chhaNh bhi…maang mat, maang mat, maang mat,Agnipath, Agnipath, Agnipath….. Tu na thakega kabhi…tu na thamega kabhi…tu na mudega kabhi,…ar shapath, Kar shapath, Kar shapath,…Agnipath, Agnipath, Agnipath.
Ye Mahaan Drishya hai,Chal raha Manushya hai, Ashru, swed, rakta se…Lathpath Lathpath Lathpath..Agnipath, Agnipath, Agnipath.
Meaning… Even if there be trees (around)…shady and huge, for the shade of a single leaf
don’t ask, don’t ask, don’t ask..(Walk on the) Path of Fire, (Walk on the) Path of Fire..
You will never stop,You will never halt,You will never turn,Take this oath, take this oath, take this oath(Walk on the) Path of Fire, (Walk on the) Path of Fire..
It’s a great scene,The man is walking,in tears, sweat, and blood,soaked, swathed,
(Walk on the) Path of Fire, (Walk on the) Path of Fire..
And, our armed forces otherwise seems all-set, to march ahead else take-off rather already underway with surgical operations against the culprits of Nation. Then Top defence experts also termed the ‘surgical strikes’ on terror launch pads across the Line of Control in POK as an “operational necessity” and said those were necessitated as the “levels of tolerance” were crossed.
Former military commanders lauded the bravery and calibrated approach of the Indian security forces as also the government for allowing the military to carry out the task and said “a long pending debt has been paid back today” to our so-called (slip-up) most favoured nation now turned as terrorist state, otherwise. Intelligentsias, on other hand justified the strikes, saying the forces had entered into Indian Territorydeceitfullyoccupied by NAPAK Pakistan.
According to reports coming from borders and militancy affected areas, everyone, including our Military-forces; found pleased that the government is letting the Army do what it needs to do. Let Pakistani military know that this is what we have done and we will continue to do it (if) they do not behave themselves, a brave soldier revealed. We need a big heart for doing this as the red lines have (been) crossed.
Anyhow; the announcement of the sudden action by the Army was made on Thursday by Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, 11 days after a terror strike by Pakistan-based terror outfit JeM on an Indian Army camp in Uri in Kashmir which left 18 soldiers dead. As big statements & incitements came as big-bang after the attack and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also said the attackers will not go “unpunished” and that the sacrifice of 18 jawans will not go in vain. DGMO also publicized that time that ‘We got the ability to respond and we will respond, at a place and time of our choosing’.
All above in line with the action-taken, today reminding us the famous dialogue by the legend actor RAJ KUMAR…JAANI…”Hum tumhe maarenge, aur zaroor maarenge…lekin wo bandook bhi humari hogi…goli bhi humari hogi…aur waqt bhi humara hoga….AUR JAGAH BHI HUM CHUNENGE……..
Now at this juncture; when the mounting tensions of war is almost becoming aconcern of the Asian region, but a global concern otherwise because both states have long been nuclear-armed countries. And, only two questions in every mind….War is Must or Is another war inevitable?
Many factors & conflicts surrounded our two nations’ and where majorities are saying the war will be unlikely to happen, but at the same time greater part is saying that WAR will definitely be soon.
By all said and done, as responsible nation, we need to emphasis our strengths and weaknesses also. We know India evidently has a bigger military force, with more defence reserves and funds and with our secure and developing economy has been fairly unaffected by the overall international economic slowdown and thus will be able to sustain the cost of war if necessary.
Allies: Pakistan previously had the US and China backing them in all three wars (1965, 1971, and 1999), while India could anticipate support from Russia and Israel.Strategy: India has a rule of “No First Attack”.Governance: Unlike Pakistan; India never had issues between the Government, Military and the Intelligence Agency regarding running the country. In the case of a post-nuclear attack situation, India may have a marginally bigger figure of casualties but it could also correspondingly destroy a greater area from the Pakistani demographic.
Could India and Pakistan really go to war? It almost seems an absurd question to ask, now.
Amidst all the tensions and worries, here is a look at our military power & head-to-head assets and strength’s comparisons.
At the end, Pakistan have a duty to also make note of verses by our union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore who said that though the strikes should not be seen as military action, they signal that “we will do everything possible to defend ourselves; we may also attack to defend ourselves.”
