Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has postponed all the examinations scheduled to be held tomorrow, when re-election will be held in 38 violence hit polling stations in Budgam of Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency.
An official of the IUST all examinations of the university scheduled to be held tomorrow have been postponed. IUST has already postponed the examinations scheduled till today. Kashmir University (KU) had also deferred all examinations till today.Re-election was yesterday announced at 38 violence-hit polling stations in Budgam of Srinagar Parliamentary constituency on April 13. Bypolls in Srinagar Lok Sabha seat, spread in Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal, which recorded only 7.14 per cent of polling, was marred by violence that left eight youth dead and over 150 others, including 100 security force personnel, injured.
