Jammu Cyclists take out a rally on World Earth Day

Jammu Cyclists (JC) Group led by its founder, Balvinder Singh Goldy today celebrated Earth Day by riding on their cycles from Jammu to Samba. The ride was intended to spread awareness about the protection of environment and promote cycling. Earth Day, Jammu Cyclists wanted to do something to let the people know about protecting the environment and care for our planet “Earth” and what better than taking a ride and educating the people about it” said the cyclists Balvinder Singh Goldy and Rajesh Koul. We at Jammu Cyclists (JC) have been taking cycle rides for social causes and promoting cycling. JC has made cycle rides to Udhampur, Patnitop, Kathua, and Amritsar for “Beti Bachao Beti Padao”, “Cashless India”, “Digidhan mela”, “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and Golden ride. People look at us and enquire about our group and intention and when they come to know about the rides are all about promoting cycling as well as social causes, they get motivated and many of them have taken up cycling as well. The senior members of Jammu Cyclists Anil Kumar Sharma, Tejbir Singh Bali, Sukreet Gupta, Praveen Raina shared the same thought of promoting cycling with a view to gave a message to the youth to take up sports and cycling to keep themselves fit and avoid indulgence in drugs. “Earth day” cycling ride had a message for the people “to take care of the environment, paddle a cycle…Save fuel…Keep fit…Avoid pollution…and Take care of the planet”.
This cycle ride on Earth Day was attended by Goldy, Rajesh Koul, Praveen, Kapil, Sunil, Rohit, Sukreet, AKS, Jejbir Singh Bali, Dheeraj, Raj, Bhuvnesh and Jaipal Singh.
