Jammu is a city of traffic jams and dump of garbage: State NCP

A meeting of senior office bearers of NCP was held under the chairmanship of Former minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP President J&K state to discuss the various issues of state beside the celebrations of National President, Sharad Pawar’s 76th birthaday on December 12, 2016 other social and political issues were also discussed. Initiating the proceedings of the meeting, Krishan Kumar Digra, Vice President NCP, chairman legal cell NCP welcomed the initiative taken by the new Municipal commissioner by issuing a notice to all Nursing homes, Banquet halls, Commercial complexes, and etc should have a sufficient parking so that there is no public nuisance/public hazards. Digra said the Jammu city is the most polluted city in the country because of un control traffic and haphazard constructions without proper master plan and even now the illegal constructions are being allowed by the Municipal corporation inspite of the notification issued by the High Court. Thakur Randhir Singh has formed a committee who would expose illegal/ unauthorized constructions and bring all these in the notice of Municipal commissioner and higher authorities and also approach the High Court.
State President has appointed the powerful 16 members committee being headed by K K Digra as Chairman, Er Rishi Kilam as Vice Chairman,R C Bali as Secretary, R S Billowria, Abhimanyu Pratap Singh Jamwal, Rattan Chand, Ch Jarnail Khokhar,Sandeep Manhas, Raj Singh Jamwal, Bansi Lal Sodhi Sandeep Manha, Col Amar Singh, Choudhary Dev Raj, T K Koul, Rattan Chand and Sakina Khan.
