Amidst the continuous terror attacks in Kashmir, the militant outfits are planning to target Jammu region for which Tawi River could be used as infiltration route especially during the peak monsoon.

Fresh reports are coming that the Pakistan based Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba has prepared a nefarious plot to target Jammu region for which it has prepared six ultras who could try to infiltrate into this side through Tawi River by taking advantage of its high water level during the monsoon.

Highly placed sources disclosed that these inputs are jointly received by the several security and intelligence agencies after which the security grid along the river Tawi has been tightened.

Sources said that it is clearly mentioned in the reports of security agencies that there is every possibility that the Tawi which flows through the Jammu city and enters Pakistan from Makwal border could be the next infiltration route of the militants and probably the Makwal border region could be their next target.

For execution of the plan militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba has trained six ultras who are fully capable to swim even under adverse conditions and have been well trained in such a manner that they can spend longer time in greater depth without taking breath.

Pertinent to mention here that the Makwal area has also witnesses suspected moments several times on the International Border (IB) and even couple of times Bangladeshi’s trying to ex-filtrate to Pakistan have also been arrested by the alert troops of Border Security Force (BSF).

Several times extensive search operations were also launched by the forces in the region after the inputs by security agencies and even once the attempt of infiltration was also foiled by the troopers.
