Jammu Railway Police nabs 2 with Opium

Jammu Railway Police today arrested two persons along with contraband of opium (Ganja) here. “Two drug peddlers were arrested and 16 Packets (16 kg) of Ganja was from their possession here during a Naka held near Post office Railway Station,” police spokesman here said.
He said that acting on suspicious movement of two people with bags in their hand, they were intercepted but when they tried to escape, chased and arrested.
The arrested persons were identified as Bhola Kumar Yadav of Saidabad Roghupur, District Vaishali Bihar and Sanjeev Kumar Paswan of Mukama, District Patna, Bihar.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered and investigation started, police added.
The arrests were made by ASI Sarwar Hussain under the supervision of Inspector Vinod Kumar, SHO P/S GRP Jammu and Devinder Singh, SDPO Railways Jammu and overall supervision of Mohammad Irshad SSP, Railways.
