Jammu Sanskriti School holds its investiture ceremony

‘Before you are a leader success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader success is all about growing others’. Keeping up with this thought in mind, the primary wing of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu held its investiture ceremony on 29/05/2018. It was a day imbued with sense of pride, humility & leadership. It was a day where newly selected members of Junior council were officially entrusted with their duties & powers. The proceeding of the function commenced with a spell binding rendition of welcome song, spreading the belief that each student of J.S.S can reach for the stars with determination and parse variance.

However the colourful bonanza attained its height when the new junior council members namely:- Akshit Choudhary & Hargun Kour were honoured with Junior School Leaders title, Anirudh Singh & Arshiya became Junior CCA Activity Leaders. Udeyveer Singh from Passion House, Sumaira Dubey from Wisdom, Utkarsha Mishra from Optimism & Charvi Bhagat from Harmony were conferred as Junior House Captains for their respective houses.

Swati Sharma, Renowned Artist & Chief guest of the day along with her husband          Bhumesh Sharma, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson Rohini Aima and Sonakshi Anand (Trustee of school) decorated the council members with sachets & badges. This was followed by the march pass & oath taking ceremony. All the council members headed by Junior School leader boy Akshit Choudhary & Junior School leader girl Hargun Kour Bhalla promised to disburse their duties & responsibilities in the most upbeat & assiduous manner.

Chief guest Swati Sharma appreciated the proceedings of the programme & congratulated the students and teachers with her words of wisdom. Principal cum Vice-chairperson Rohini Aima congratulated the students & listed her expectations from new council body. Apart from nurturing leadership she also emphasized on the values that one must inculcate Honesty, determination, discipline, wisdom, humility & aspirations are the words children need to pay heed to. The programme ended with vote of thanks which was proposed by our student Aayan Ali of class 3rd. The show was compered by Rasmeet under the overall supervision of Varuna (Primary Coordinator) & Yogesh (HOD P.H.E).
