JDA removes encroachments

Jammu Development Authority (JDA) today removed the encroachments at busiest shopping complex Bahu Plaza.
As per official spokersperson, due to Darbar move Secretariat from Srinagar to winter Capital, heavy traffic jams are witnessed daily on the roads due to  unauthorized encroachments on pavements, unauthorized parking of idle vehicles on road sides.
On the direction of Mubarak Singh, Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority (JDA), an anti encroachment drive was launched today around the busiest shopping Complex Bahu Plaza, Rail Head Complex to remove the unauthorized encroachments which were causing traffic hurdles/ chaos.
The anti-encroachment drive was conducted under the supervision of Gurvinderjeet Singh, Director Land Management, JDA, comprising Narinder Singh, Chief Khilafwarzi Officer, Pankaj Singh Sambyal, Khilafwarzi Officer, Romesh Kumar, Balbir Singh and Naresh Kumar, Girdhari Lal, Rajinder Singh Choudhary and Booti Singh, Khilafwarzi Inspectors.
During the drive, the team removed rehris, big/small hoardings, banners/ small wooden khokhas erected on road sides etc
