J&K football team wins over Uttarakhand team

In ongoing National Football Championship in Santosh Trophy 2016-17 (North Zone), J&K team played their 2nd match against Uttarakhand, match started at 11AM, from the first whistle only J&K team looked in good shape and started pressing towards opponents goal from the word go. Early in the match within 10 minutes J& K team scored a goal through penalty, penalty shot was taken by Hanan Mir.
In remaining time till half time J&K team played aggressively, half time score read J&K team leading 1-0. In the 2nd half players maintained the same momentum ,playing aggressively, every time charging towards the opponent goal with only one intention ,that is to score, with around 5- 6 chances created by J&K team but weren’t successful to convert them. Overall J&K team today displayed a mature, aggressive and disciplined football on the field. End score read as J&K winning by 1- 0. J&K Football team will look forward to Sunday’s match which is last for both J&K and Punjab, both Football teams will look to win the match to qualify for next round.
