JKATA submit memorandum to DyCM

Demanding the inclusion of service period of since 1 April 2007, change the title of VAEA to JAEO and put all VAEAs under pension benefits, J&K Agriculture Technocrats Association led by Sanjeev Verma, Vikas Sharma and Gurdeep Singh and Called on Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and submitted a charter of demands at Billawar on Friday. Association District Kathua handed over the demand charter to Deputy Chief Minister with a hope to get their pending genuine and justified demands addressed soon Verma said.
Association also appreciated the role of BJP-PDP coalition Government to regularise the REZ technocrats in general and Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, Agriculture Minister Ghulam Nabi Lone and MOS Agriculture Sunil Sharma in particular. No doubt they recruited thousands of REZ as regular employees in the form of VAEAs in Agriculture Department in honor of cabinet order of regularisation of previous governments but with this move the future of the VAEAs have not been made as secured like other employees, leaders of the Association said. Without pension benefits the regularised technocrats are in a new stress and frustration with seeing their future unsecure, the indeed title of the post JAEO had to be given to these newly regularized technocrats to do the justice with all REZs. Actual joining as temporary employees in the form of REZ is 1 April 2007, so according that the service period should be included since then and put all the regularised REZ as VAEAs under the pension benefit. At last they again urged the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh please change of title of VAEAs with JAEO so that regularised REZ could feel that they have been given justice by the state government.
